SC-Web-CS: Suply Chain Web-centric Systems

This paper proposes a generic framework, SC-webCS, for the development of next generation web-centric supply chain management systems. The framework builds on our previously developed Multi-Resolution Collaborative Architecture (MRCA) that supports multiple collaborative interfaces for effective human/system interaction within an underlying open-system framework. Its implementation is supported by a distributed information management system (DIMS), built on a powerful communication platform with adaptive capabilities, and with a new and efficient type of coordination and communication infrastructure which supports multi-agent collaboration. Some implementation issues are also discussed in details.
